Answer 1:

We allow well behaved pets in our cottages and on premise. Unfortunately we cannot allow pets in the Inn.

Answer 2:

We do charge a $40 pet fee per stay for extra cleaning costs. You are responsible for any additional damage that may occur.

Answer 3:

All cottages have cooking options available. Dishes, pots/pans, and coffee maker are supplied. If you need additional items, we are happy to supply those for you. Cottages are equipped with bedding and towels. If you need to change out linens during your stay, please bring them over to the Inn and we will assist you.

Answer 4:

Yes! You can walk to the shore, stroll along our fields and enjoy our gardens. At low tide, you may adventure across the sand bar to a nearby island.

Answer 5:

Complimentary Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 9:00am for our B&B Inn guests. We offer full breakfast such as eggs to order, bacon or sausage, fresh fruit, cereal, our famous buttermilk blueberry pancakes, juice and coffee. Cottage guests are welcome for $12/person plus tax and gratuity with advanced notice to the staff.

Answer 6:

Typically check in at 4:00pm, but you are welcome to arrive earlier and enjoy our beautiful view and natural surroundings. If your room or cottage is ready, you can check in early. Check out is by 11:00am in both the Inn and cottages. You are welcome to stay longer on Flye Point as long as you have removed your belongings from your rental.

Answer 7:

Internet is available in most of the Inn and does reach some of the cottages. We do not however guarentee internet in rooms or cottages. You are always welcome to sit in the diningroom during off-dinner hours and our sitting rooms which have the best connections.

Answer 8:

No TV's! No phones! Our guests love to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet of a small Maine town. We welcome you to explore our historic Inn, walk along our rocky shore, and take in the beauty of Flye Point. Looking for something extra to do? Blue Hill Activity center will rent and deliver to you kayaks and bikes!

Answer 9:

Being on the coast of Maine, we are mostly gifted cool evenings and early mornings. During the day, temperatures reach into the 70's for the majority of our rental season, which is perfect! We find the cool ocean breeze is enough to keep you comfortable on warmer days. So, typically we have no need for air conditioning. If you do get a rare hot evening, you may request a fan from housekeeping.
